UAE soldier dies in Yemen vehicle crash

Sana'a- An Emirati soldier was killed when the vehicle he was travelling in overturned in Yemen on Saturday, the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces said.

According to the state-run news agency WAM, the soldier died while participating in the Saudi-led Arab coalition's ‘Operation Restoring Hope' in Yemen.

Several Emirati soldiers and other gulf soldiers have been killed since they led a ground fighting against the Houthis in Yemen in July. UAE is a member of the Saudi-led Arab coalition which began in March, targeting Houthi militants across Yemen in order to restore president Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi to power.
