Unidentified armed on Sunday kidnapped a senior member of the Yemen Socialist Party in Sana'a, Al-Wahdawi net, the mouthpiece of the party, said.
According to the source, Haitham Awon, the financial and administrative officer, was kidnapped when he was in the heart of the capital city on Al-Zubairi Street.
The party called on the de facto authority in Sana'a to take action and bring the perpetrators to justice.
