Pro-government forces backed by Saudi-led airstrikes took over on Sunday Aljadeed area to the west of Taiz city, pushing the Houthis and allied forces out of their positions, local sources said.
According to the sources, the government forces also seized Almaqar village located on the coastal line of Mocha as they continue their push from three directions.
A few days ago, Alomari military outpost in Taiz was liberated from the Houthis. According to observers, the Houthi reinforcements will no more able to come to Taiz from Hodeida to the west of Yemen.
