Saudi Arabia and Oman plan to sign thirteen trade and investment agreements, according to Oman’s minister of commerce, industry and investment promotion.

The announcement came during the Saudi’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman visit to the Sultanate.

Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef has told Asharq that the agreements are based on clear investment and commercial foundations.

Omani OQ Group has already signed two agreements with the Kingdom’s Aramco and SABIC, while another deal was reached between the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia and Oman’s national logistics group ASYAD.

Al Yousef stressed that the Sultanate sees Saudis as akin to a national investor and it expects the Omanis in the Kingdom to be treated similarly.
